Agile project management training

Improve your ability to deliver high-quality projects to strict budgets and deadlines with bespoke Agile training from Box UK. Our consultants guide you through the techniques of applying tailored Agile and Lean principles to your business processes, with personalised packages incorporating clinics, observation sessions, workshops and more for a strategy uniquely suited to the goals, requirements, contexts and constraints of your business.

The benefits

Agile is a flexible approach to project management, promoting collaboration, communication, cross-functional teams and lightweight documentation. Through the continual prioritisation and re-prioritisation of requirements, Agile enables projects to easily and rapidly respond to changing market conditions. An iterative sprint-based delivery model produces working products at regular intervals for maximum return and minimal risk.

Working closely with international brand-name organisations to define plans for improvement and optimisation in their project management, our expert Agile team has delivered measurable benefits for clients, including:

  • Constant feature delivery
  • Fewer defects
  • Improved satisfaction
  • Continuous improvement
  • Better team working

Is it for me?

Agile was created with its roots firmly in the software and technology industry, making it ideally suited to a variety of digital projects. If you’re involved in any aspect of the project management lifecycle in these areas Box UK’s Agile training can have a long-term positive impact on your capabilities and, ultimately, the success of your deliveries. Agile is also becoming increasingly popular across a wide variety of different sectors and disciplines, and at Box UK our consultants have years of experience tailoring Agile principles for increased performance and efficiency across a range of business processes.

The format

Beginning with an initial discovery session, carried out on your premises or remotely, our consultants analyse your current processes to benchmark performance and define a series of ‘problem statements’ that are used to target areas for improvement. Armed with these insights, members of our Agile team then shadow your staff through a period of observation, typically lasting one to two days. Analysing how each team member goes about their daily tasks, our consultants can then generate a series of improvement stories along with a detailed methodology to guide implementation, offering suggestions for further training if required. As adopting Agile is an iterative and incremental process we also provide ongoing monitoring and assistance to ensure your efforts are continually being optimised.

Topics covered

In addition to company-wide reviews and recommendations, we also conduct training sessions covering individual roles and facets central to the Agile approach. Taking place on a one-to-one basis or for groups of up to eight people, and available on-site or at our own training facilities, these bespoke sessions offer a flexible way to ensure your organisation is equipped with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to manage the project lifecycle with Agile. Sessions include:
