Box UK shortlisted for prestigious Econsultancy Innovation Award

We are pleased to announce that Box UK has been shortlisted for a prestigious Econsultancy Innovation Award. We have been nominated in the Innovation in User Experience category for our work on UI Sketcher, a sketching tool for the iPad designed to enable User Interface designers to generate ideas quickly and iteratively, in a realistic design environment.

The awards recognise outstanding commitment to cutting-edge innovation in a number of categories. They are dedicated to celebrating the advances being made in the industry, and previous winners include IBM, Skype and Fresh Egg.  Competition for a place in the 2011 shortlist was fierce, with over 350 entries received. We are proud to have been selected as finalists, and to be recognised as innovators in our field.

The winners will be announced by Econsultancy at the end of the month, and all shortlisted companies are invited to attend an exclusive ‘Winners’ Dinner’ in central London on the 9^th of February. We will keep this site updated as the final results are revealed.

Update 17/1/11 - We are pleased to announce that UI Sketcher won Highly Commended from Econsultancy and an international panel of judges, including representatives from BBC, Mercedes-Benz and Dell. We are thrilled with this result and are looking forward to celebrating our success at the Winner's Dinner in February.
