Security advice from Product Manager
Box UK’s Amaxus Product Manager Carey Hiles recently took part in a series of online video presentations from Application Developers based in Wales. The videos are designed to increase awareness of emerging digital technologies and services, as well as provide advice and tips on protecting yourself against the possible dangers of using them. The initiative was conceived by e-Crime Wales to support the lead up to their annual e-Crime Wales summit for 2010, which took place in July at the Celtic Manor Resort, Newport.

They provide a valuable introduction into the growing field of mobile platforms and applications, how they’re changing the industry, and a personal insight into the effect this has had on what we do at Box UK. Carey also discusses what he considers to be the top three areas of importance when considering, or developing for, mobile devices.
We are very proud to have been able to support e-Crime Wales in ensuring individuals and businesses are kept informed of the latest advances in digital technology, and aware of the risks associated with using them.
