Development begins on Amaxus 4
After months of conceptual work, the actual development of Amaxus 4 has finally started. Initial work on Amaxus 4 began almost 9 months ago with just a rough idea of the improvements needed to take the CMS to the next level. We worked with Information Architecture consultants in New Zealand, consulted with leading design agencies, and combined this with in-house feedback to turn the rough ideas into a skeleton design. Finally, we added feedback we received from first impressions on the Amaxus User Group day. We are now prepared and ready to start building the new Amaxus...from the ground up.
A dedicated Amaxus 4 development workspace has recently been installed into the Box UK Cardiff office. The Amaxus 4 workspace has been built to be the centre of creativity, development, and production of everything surrounding the exciting new project. The entire process will eventually encompass the whole company, ensuring it’s not only better than ever before, but the best in the business.
Amaxus 4 is currently scheduled for beta testing this summer, with a release date pencilled in for Autumn 2008.
