Based in Cardiff, Box UK is made up of 40 seriously talented, passionate, friendly people. We develop our own award-winning software (actually, multi-award winning!), and build amazing online applications for our global-brand clients. Oh, and we aim to be one of the best places to work in the UK.

• You love writing code.
• The web excites and amazes you - you probably know more than any of your friends about AJAX, OpenID, Twitter or Amazon Elastic Computing Cloud.
• Even though you don’t know the details, you can discuss all areas of web development, including Usability, Accessibility, Information Architecture, SEO and Standards.
• Small inconsistencies irritate you; maybe 3 buttons that aren’t perfectly aligned, or a box that doesn’t look quite right when viewed with Firefox on a Mac.
• You’ve made your own website, or blog, or put a little app online through the sheer pleasure of it.
• You desperately want to achieve something meaningful - something that matters.
• You are fascinated with the bigger aspects of development: from frameworks to methodologies, patterns to interface usability.
• You are also fascinated with the details: the positioning of a tab, the wording of a label, the beauty of a perfectly indented method.
• You’re pretty hot at Object Oriented PHP, and may know about XML, XSLT, and a bunch of other technologies; maybe you’ve started dabbling with Ruby on Rails.
• You are driven, proactive, and a pragmatic problem solver.
• You’re not afraid to innovate and try solutions that have never been tried.
• You also know when to use the “tried and tested” approach.
• Even though you’re already smart, you constantly crave more knowledge.  For you, life is about learning something - and achieving something - every day.
