Newsletter

Amaxus provides a facility to create and edit a newsletter document.  A newsletter is a selection of new information or recent developments of interest to specific groups of people.  Once created, newsletters can be published in two ways:

• They can be displayed on the live site as a document
• They can be emailed to site visitors who have signed up to receive them by entering their details via site registration

Upon selecting the New Newsletter or Edit Newsletter option from the Amaxus desktop, the user is presented with the Newsletter work window.  Here the title and text for the newsletter should be entered.  If the newsletter is distributed via email, this title will form the subject line of the newsletter email.

Additional email recipients can be specified.
