Managing a large portfolio of domain names can quickly become a difficult task. Box UK provides a number of services to enable clients to manage, control and track their domains effectively.

What does Domain Management involve?

• Consolidating domains into one portfolio
• Tracking the lifecycle of existing domains
• Ensuring domain details are up-to-date
• Managing the DNS records (A & MX records)

• Consolidated billing (monthly or quarterly)

Domain Analysis

Box UK begins by analysing your current domains, documenting the relevant registration data and any disparities. The objective is to consolidate the domains’ registration data, where feasible, and ensure that there are no inherent problems.

Insertion into the Domain Manager

After the initial analysis, the domains and their relevant registration data are imported into the Domain Manager. This software provides you with full control over your domain portfolio:

Manage existing domains: Create and selectively apply default contact profiles, enabling you to standardise existing registrations throughout your organisation.

Domain renewal management: The Domain Manager enables you to view domain renewal dates and automatically highlights those that are imminent. Automatic renewals, e-mail alerts and on demand renewals make it easy to keep your portfolio active and up-to-date.

Register new domains: News domains can be registered via the Domain Manager. If a domain name is unavailable, you will be informed of alternative options.

Roles-based access: Users can be restricted to different levels of access, enabling only those with relevant access rights to make any amendments.

DNS Hosting

As an additional service, Box UK can provide full DNS hosting for your domains. This will enable your organisation to maintain all its domains in one central place, and manage host (A) records, mail exchanger (MX) and alias (CNAME) records accordingly.

Domain Name Registration

Box UK offer both standard domain name registration, and a full Domain Name Management service.
