Can Amaxus be used as an image library?

Amaxus can be used as an image or media file library. All media files uploaded to the system are tagged with metadata. This enables system users to easily find media files by searching. For example, a user could search for "corporate logo for black and white media".

Media Files are uploaded as individual objects and stored in a Media Library for future use.  The structure of the library is fully customisable through Amaxus.  During upload, copies of the original image are created with set widths (e.g. 400, 200, 100, 70) allowing the user to select the most appropriate size when using.  The number of images created depends on the width of the original, as images are never stretched.

The image manipulation suite includes facilities such as:
