New Amaxus Workflow released
Box UK is pleased to announce the release of the new Amaxus Workflow. With a unique, non-proprietary graphical interface, the workflow application enables the simple management of complex business processes.
An exciting characteristic of the Amaxus Workflow is its WfMC compliance. The Workflow Management Coalition is a global body that brings together the leaders in the software industry, promoting standards for software terminology, interoperability and connectivity between workflow products. This enables its rules and definitions to be used in other business applications, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. XML Process Definition Files (XPDL) are created via a graphical interface, and can be setup for any business scenario.
The Amaxus Workflow is not constrained within Amaxus. For example, a job application might enter the business process through the organisation's website, but might then be funneled into the organisation's human resource management system. This entire workflow process can be tracked within Amaxus.
The following scenarios highlight just two of the many possibilities:
- A significant enquiry is sent through an organisation's UK website. The system, recognising its potential value but aware that the relevant salesman is out of the office, triggers an SMS message providing him with the details.
- The marketing director, staying at a hotel, sends an email to her webserver requesting the latest traffic analysis for her global portal. The system responds by running an analysis, generating a report and emailing her back an executive summary.
