United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority selects Amaxus
The United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) has selected Amaxus to run its Intranet. With over 50,000 documents and 3,000 users, the project will start with a number of pilot sites.
About the UKAEA
UKAEA pioneered the development of nuclear energy in the UK. Today it is responsible for managing the decommissioning of the nuclear reactors and other radioactive facilities used for the UK's nuclear research and development programme in a safe and environmentally sensitive manner.
UKAEA is a non-departmental public body, funded mainly by its lead department the Department of Trade and Industry.
