Integrated Statistics for Amaxus (in real-time!)
Amaxus now has an integrated Statistics module that works within the CMS interface, providing real-time statistics and graphical analysis directly to content managers and owners.
The module tracks each view/request, thereby eliminating problems of third-party tools, such as the inability to rationalise content with multiple URLs.
Benefits
Viewing statistics is no longer limited to Administrators. With the Amaxus module, content owners can view statistics for every one of their documents, enabling them to measure which are most widely used, and adjust the documents that aren't.
Provision of real-time statistics rather than log-file analysis. The Amaxus module enables both Administrators and Content Authors to view who is accessing their content in real-time.
Using the platform independent SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format, users are able to drill into the graphs by clicking on the relevant region.
Accessibility of websites does not just apply to their technical makeup. It also covers how accessible the content is. The Amaxus Statistics module provides readability analysis, including Fogg Index and Flesch Reading Ease. This ensures that your content is suitable for your audience.
The Integrated Statistics module can provide analysis for any website, extranet or intranet driven by Amaxus. This is provided at no extra cost.
Users can export the analysis as PDF reports, enabling their easy distribution.

Scenarios
Comparative Analysis
The author of press releases for a large company publishes the day's releases to the UK website. After looking at the readibility analysis for each press release to ensure they are accessible to a large audience, she begins to look at the real-time traffic each one is receiving. Noticing that one is receiving less traffic that the others, she adjusts its title and description. The number of visitors viewing it quickly begins to rise.
Content Ownership
A large organisation has thousands of documents online. In order to manage this mass of content effectively, the web team allocates each document to a specific content owner within the organisation. It is the content owner's responsibility to ensure their documents remain current and updated. Using the integrated stats module, they are able to view the traffic for each of their documents, and pinpoint those which are not receiving regular viewings. In turn, the web team can quickly analyse which content owners are not managing to update their content regularly, and if necessary, reallocate the content ownership accordingly.
