Imperial War Museum launches innovative online exhibition
A website devoted to the lasting impact of the Second World War launches on 4 July as part of the their past your future programme led by the Imperial War Museum.
An innovative and interactive online exhibition using materials from the collections of the Imperial War Museum enables users to learn about the impact of the Second World War on the people and landscape of the UK. The exhibition is being launched by the Imperial War Museum on 4 July to coincide with Veterans Awareness Week. The site, designed by creative agency Rufus Leonard and driven by Amaxus, Box UK's XML Content Management System, is part of Their Past Your Future, a £10 million year long programme of commemorative events to mark the 60th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
