Award finalists announced
Software development consultancy Box UK, together with cybersecurity software and hardware company Sophos, has been named as a finalist in the sixth annual European Software Testing Awards.
Box UK and Sophos join organisations such as Vodafone, Dow Jones, Deloitte and Société Générale in the “Best User Experience (UX) Testing in a Project” category of the awards, following the successful delivery of an in-depth programme of usability testing.
About the project
Sophos commissioned Box UK’s UX consultants to conduct lab-based usability testing to help them improve the usability of their product range, which is relied upon by more than 100 million users in 150 countries.
Encompassing a number of studies over a 12-month period, the programme saw a number of areas of Sophos’ unified web-based admin console tested, providing qualitative and quantitative insight to inform key business and design decisions. Further value was delivered through innovative techniques including a Google Ventures (GV) Design Sprint, which compresses the process of designing, prototyping and testing concepts into just five days.
A fantastic achievement

Winners announced
The winners of the European Software Testing Awards will be announced at a gala dinner taking place at the historic Old Billingsgate in London on 21st November, where hundreds of industry professionals will gather to celebrate outstanding success among individuals, teams, and projects.
