Agile Consultancy of the Year

We are pleased to reveal that Box UK has been nominated for ‘Agile Consultancy of the Year (SME)’ in the Agile Awards 2016. The awards, which were created seven years ago to recognise and award the top Agile talent, are for practitioners who exemplify the characteristics of conviction, passion, and courage, and serve to publicly recognise these teams for their efforts. As a shortlisted organisation in the Agile Consultancy of the Year category, Box UK has shown itself to be held in high regard by the clients it has supported in the transformation, implementation, promotion and use of Agile within their business.

Consultants and practitioners

This latest announcement follows a period of sustained Agile success for Box UK. The software development consultancy has recently extended its Agile Coaching programme with several new training courses, and has delivered sessions for a diverse range of clients including Jaguar Land Rover, Ugly Duck and Cardiff University. As practitioners of Agile themselves, the team understands the real-world issues relating to its application, and applies this knowledge to deliver pragmatic, actionable advice that is based on up-to-date methods, has been tried and tested in live projects, and is tailored to each organisation’s unique goals and requirements.

Box UK’s Agile portfolio has been further strengthened through the successful delivery of projects for clients such as Investec Asset Management, the British Horseracing Authority and Risk Decisions. Throughout these projects Box UK worked closely with clients, to instil the techniques, principles and culture of Agile within their organisations, and help ensure they realise the greatest possible value out of the framework.

Supporting the Agile community

Box UK also continues to play a prominent role in the wider Agile community, with two members of the team delivering talks at this year’s Agile Cymru conference; the content of which has supported the creation of a range of fun and engaging games introducing core Agile concepts. These games join a growing repository of resources focused on the practical application of Agile, from white papers on managing successful Agile transformations and bringing the approach outside of software development through to tools designed to improve the effectiveness of key activities such as retrospectives.

“A huge testament to the skill and dedication of the team”

Benno Wasserstein, Managing Director at Box UK, commented: “It’s wonderful to see our commitment to promoting and furthering good Agile practice recognised at an international level. Delivering the maximum value for our clients is a top priority for us, and we understand the key role Agile approaches can play in helping us achieve this. This nomination is a huge testament to the skill and dedication of the team, and an indication of an extremely promising future as we continue to help organisations grow and thrive through the successful adoption of the approach.”
