MemCom 2017

For the second year running, award-winning software development consultancy Box UK will headline sponsor the annual MemCom conference, which this year takes place for the first time at the iconic County Hall in central London, on Wednesday 17th May.

Focusing on how membership organisations can create and implement a truly workable and effective strategy to take them through to 2020 and beyond, the event will see hundreds of senior marketers from professional associations and other membership organisations come together to network, learn about the latest innovation and best practice, and hear talks on a wide range of relevant topics from expert practitioners and industry thought leaders.

Demystifying digital transformation

With a dedicated exhibition space Box UK will be on hand throughout MemCom 2017 to discuss how emerging technological advances are impacting the membership sector, and will also be delivering a presentation titled “Demystifying your digital transformation: practical steps towards achieving your goals”, as part of the event’s programme of talks aimed at helping membership professionals deliver their strategies effectively.

During this session Box UK’s Head of Consultancy, Andrew Beaney, and Account Manager Adam Jones will draw on their extensive experience working with membership organisations to offer real-world advice on ensuring everyone involved on a digital transformation project is working towards the same goals, covering topics including ways to allow the whole team a voice while remaining lean and agile, and how to balance being flexible and iterative with thinking big.

Industry-specific expertise

This is Box UK’s second year as a MemCom headline sponsor, having spoken at MemCom 2016 on the role of psychology in influencing and recruiting new members. Since then the software development consultancy has continued to build its relationships with organisations right across the sector, delivering high-profile projects for organisations such as BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT, and receiving recognition from both the Communicator Awards and the W3 Awards for its work with the Royal College of Nursing.

Following this latest MemCom announcement Benno Wasserstein, Box UK’s Managing Director commented: “It’s great to be once again acting as a headline sponsor at MemCom. We’re incredibly proud to have worked with a number of leading international membership organisations in recent years, helping them deliver measurable results for both members and their business, and are looking forward to sharing our insight and expertise with conference attendees so that they too can realise similar benefits.”
