Award winners announced

Following news from the international Communicator Awards, Box UK is pleased to announce that two projects it has helped deliver have received the prestigious Award of Distinction. RS Component’s Product Data Library (PDL) was recognised in the “Websites – Manufacturing” category, and there was further success for TBC Bank’s iPad application in the “Mobile & Apps – Finance” category.

“The work entered in the 21st Annual Communicator Awards serves as a true testament to the innovative ideas and capabilities of communications and marketing professionals around the world. Each year our entrants continue to amaze by reinventing the ways we communicate and market in an ever-changing industry,” noted Linda Day, executive director of the Academy Interactive and Visual Arts. She added, “On behalf of the entire Academy, we congratulate this year’s Communicator Award Entrants and Winners for their passion and dedication.  We are humbled to be given the opportunity to recognize such amazing work.”

Supporting core business processes

PDL is one of the latest projects Box UK has delivered for RS Components, as part of a strong long-term partnership with the electronics giant. Providing efficient and scalable data storage for hundreds of millions of records, PDL has helped streamline critical processes and drive valuable efficiencies, while ensuring that users are presented with accurate and up-to-date information at all times.

Banking on the move

Box UK has also worked in partnership with TBC Bank, alongside realisation partner BSC Praha, over a number of years to support the delivery of its multi-channel strategy, in which the iPad application plays a crucial part. Enabling customers to complete common banking tasks quickly and easily from their preferred devices, the app has helped TBC Bank increase the number of active mobile banking users and, importantly, further demonstrated their commitment to providing the best multi-channel experience in the region.

Supporting digital strategies

Box UK’s Managing Director, Benno Wasserstein, said of the announcement: “We’re incredibly pleased to see that the work we’ve been doing both with TBC Bank and RS Components continues to be recognised by such respected institutions as the Communicator Awards. As organisations take an increasingly strategic approach to digital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that support these strategic goals and objectives has become imperative. TBC Bank’s iPad app and RS Components’ PDL receiving the Award of Distinction in their respective categories is a great reflection of our clients’ continued success in this area, and we remain dedicated to helping them continue to optimise their digital strategies.”
