The project, delivered by Box UK, has been recognised in the “Infrastructure Solution of the Year” category, alongside entries from Barclays and Deutsche Bank.
We are pleased to announce that our client Investec Asset Management (IAM) has been shortlisted in the 2017 FStech Awards, with a responsive mobile retrofit project delivered by Box UK. The global financial institution has been honoured alongside organisations such as Barclays and Deutsche Bank in the “Infrastructure Solution of the Year” category of the awards programme, which recognises excellence and innovation in the field of information technology within the UK and EMEA financial services sector.
This latest announcement is Box UK’s third successful result in the FStech Awards over the past four years, with the software development consultancy previously delivering work for both Investec Asset Management and TBC Bank that saw these institutions shortlisted in the “Best Use of IT in Wholesale and Investment Banking” and “Omnichannel FS Provider” categories respectively.
This year’s shortlisting also reflects the strength of the on-going partnership between Box UK and IAM, which has grown over the past ten years. Delivered in just 24 weeks from start to finish, the mobile retrofit project has extended Investec Asset Management’s award-winning digital platform, enabling the financial institution to respond quickly and effectively to changing customer behaviours and preferences as more of their investors choose to manage their investments on the move.
Speaking in response to the announcement, Box UK’s Managing Director Benno Wasserstein commented: “Being honoured once again in the prestigious FStech Awards is a great achievement both for Box UK and Investec Asset Management. With mobile devices central to most people’s daily lives, it’s crucial that organisations across all industries capitalise on new trends and opportunities to deliver the best experience possible, and we’re very pleased to have supported IAM in meeting this challenge. We’re extremely proud of the lasting relationship that has been built up between our two organisations, and of the many fantastic results it has delivered, and I look forward to continuing this partnership far into the future.”
The winners of the 2017 FStech Awards will be announced at a Gala Dinner & Ceremony on 23 March 2017 at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square. The event will see financial leaders from across the globe come together to celebrate digital achievement and innovation in the sector, with last year’s ceremony welcoming over 500 guests from some of the world’s best-known and most-respected financial institutions.
Now in their 17th year, the FStech Awards is an international event recognising financial services institutions and technology suppliers who are leading the way in such areas as social media, customer service, compliance, mobile, online, systems integration, outsourcing and data governance.
