After demonstrating quality management processes meeting the high standards set by ISO (the International Organisation for Standardization), Box UK has been awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certification. A tried and tested framework for taking a systematic approach to provide consistent customer satisfaction, the ISO 9001:2008 certification assessment, which included interviews, observation of the company’s activities and a review of key documentation and records, found that Box UK’s management processes were successfully planned, implemented and monitored to support the organisation’s quality objectives.
International assessment body ISO is the world’s largest developer and publisher of international standards. As a non-governmental organisation ISO forms a bridge between the public and private sectors, producing solutions that meet both the requirements of businesses and the broader needs of society. The ISO 9000 family of standards addresses quality management and, in particular what the organisation in question does to fulfil a client’s quality requirements and applicable regulatory requirements while enhancing client satisfaction and continually improving its performance.
Box UK’s success in gaining this certification underlines its high standards of quality management and is the result of continual review and improvement of their management processes. Speaking about the qualification, Box UK’s Director of Operations Judy Haynes said, “It’s a great achievement to have been certified as ISO 9001:2008 compliant. The ISO announcement continues a successful year for Box UK; the company was also accredited with an Investors in People Bronze award in July.
