TBC Bank shortlisted in FStech Awards

Box UK is pleased to announce that its client TBC Bank has been shortlisted for the “Omnichannel FS Provider of the Year” category in this year’s FStech Awards. The software development consultancy has partnered with TBC Bank over a number of years to support the delivery of its multi-channel strategy, which has been honoured by the prestigious international FStech Awards programme alongside institutions such as the Lloyds Banking Group and HCL Great Britain.

An exceptional multi-channel experience

TBC Bank aims to provide the best multi-channel experience in the region, and has undertaken a number of projects to support this goal. They were the first organisation in Georgia to introduce fully-native iPhone, Android and BlackBerry banking applications, and also the first bank in the country to expand its mobile banking into tablets with its native iPad application. In addition, the financial institution has implemented improvements to its remote channels such as kiosks and ATMs, which are used by customers to complete a wide range of tasks, in order to improve the service delivered and secure competitive advantage.

Leading the way in their market

These initiatives have seen TBC Bank achieve significant business success, including increasing the number of mobile transactions and active mobile users, as well as ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The announcement by the FStech Awards further demonstrates the quality and performance of TBC Bank’s multi-channel strategy, and reinforces the financial institution’s commitment to serving its customers effectively through mobile and remote touchpoints.

A proud partnership

Speaking about the announcement, Box UK’s Managing Director Benno Wasserstein said: “Being shortlisted in the FStech Awards is fantastic news both for TBC Bank and Box UK. We’re proud to work with an organisation committed to innovating in the mobile space to better serve its customers, and delighted with the results that have been driven by the work that’s been done so far. We continue to work closely with the financial institution, with a number of exciting projects already in the pipeline, and look forward to seeing these extend and enhance TBC Bank’s multi-channel strategy.”

Gala ceremony

The winners of the FStech Awards will be announced at a Gala Dinner Awards Ceremony on 26th March at the London Marriott, Grosvenor Square. The event will see financial leaders from across the globe come together to celebrate excellence and innovation in the field of information technology in the sector, with last year’s ceremony welcoming over 450 guests from some of the world’s best-known and most-respected financial institutions.
