Being a Digital Marketing & Content Executive at Box UK

As a Digital Marketing and Content Executive you are responsible for all digital channels and aligned content strategy to deliver increased online engagement, conversion and lead generation. With a natural ability to combine creative and analytical thinking, you have experience in digital marketing and content creation, SEO and analytics and are keen to develop your skills in these areas further.

Having responsibility for managing all digital marketing channels, including our website, social media channels and marketing automation tools, you are enthusiastic to progress your career through embracing opportunities to take ownership across our entire digital landscape, adding value to all areas of digital marketing.

In this role you will…

  • Develop and manage digital and social media plans, aligned to the business strategy, to increase our audience base.
  • Analyse website performance and metrics and implement optimisation to drive Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and improve the user journey.
  • Undertake keyword planning to support the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategy, managing our aligned agency to maximise our digital presence and relevance
  • Take ownership of campaign set-up, management and optimisation, working within the CMS, Salesforce, Active Campaign, and with Lead Forensics.
  • Put the users’ needs at the centre of your content, creating customer journeys based on research and insight.
  • Develop and nurture effective, collaborative relationships with stakeholders
    across the business, for feedback and input on content activities.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activity and customer insights
    to inform content.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on key performance indicators of campaign
    activity (paid and organic), sharing recommendations for improvement.
  • Deliver accurate web and digital reports to the Head of Marketing.
  • Build impactful email campaigns and automated workflows within our marketing automation platform – Active Campaign.
  • Assist with the development of Box UK strategic initiatives to further our go-to-market propositions.
  • Act as an Ambassador of Box UK, embodying our culture, values and behaviours.
  • Identify and attend industry events that increase brand awareness and promote commercial opportunities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Box UK.

And you will also need…

  • A passion for digital and content marketing following the latest trends.
  • Experience of B2B marketing.
  • The ability to use marketing automation tools to build automated campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress and managing enterprise WordPress sites.
  • Experience of creating content content for online channels – curation, editing, publishing and production.
  • Experience of using Google Analytics, keyword planning tools, campaign automation (ideally Active Campaign or relatable tools) and keen to upskill in this area.
  • Knowledge of SEO practices and experience in successfully optimising content is desirable, but not essential.
