Being a Pre-Sales Consultant at Box UK

Reporting to our Chief Growth Officer, you will be working closely with the wider sales and client team to provide expertise to support the new business generation. You will engage with our prospects to identify, understand and define their needs. Utilising your in-depth solutions knowledge you will deliver value-add proposals to close business and increase revenue. Internally you will build relationships with business solutions and technical solutions teams, using your industry and product expertise to influence marketing campaigns and future product and solutions definition.

Location: You choose – base yourself from our office in central Cardiff, or from your home, from wherever in the UK.

Travel: Frequent travel to prospect / client sites and Cardiff Head Office will be required as part of this role.

In this role you will:

● Lead the sales process from end-to-end, identifying and driving new business opportunities new-to-Box UK throughout the UK, targeting Large Enterprise C-level stakeholders and key IT & Digital decision makers.

● Collaborate with various internal team such as technical and business solutions to support new business qualification through to solution definition and handover to delivery team

● Work with our client prospects to understand their requirements and translate to design tailored innovative solutions that meet customer needs

● Work on tender responses and proposals alongside the solutions lead to create high-quality values-based documents and ensure completed proposals meet specifications.

● Act as brand ambassador, providing thought leadership and embodying company culture, values and behaviours.

● Identify and attend industry events that increase brand awareness and promote commercial opportunities.

Business Vision Identifies a synergy between technology and the prospects’ business vision and goals. Influences strategies to achieve business alignment. Has the ability and understands the importance of delivering a solution that provides a real business impact to the customer at CXO level.
Presentation and solution delivery
Able to deliver presentations that have a high level of audience impact and present a tailored presentation to a specific audience.
Relationship building
Able to develop relationships at senior executive level, and to nurture positive and effective internal relationships to leverage team support and contributions to maximise contribution to proposals promoting overall company success.
Resource and process management
Skilled at managing the sales process and giving guidance to solutions and project teams. Able to secure resources by building a strong business case.
Possesses strong facilitation skills to bring together disparate stakeholders to solve a common challenge with an agreed solution / way forward.
Tenacious & Resilient Persistent, determined and focussed on achieving goals. – Resourceful and adept at finding solutions to problems, able to bounce back from failures or disappointments and adjust strategies and approaches as needed to overcome challenges.
