Box UK announce Cyber Essentials Plus certification demonstrating commitment to security standards

Award winning Software Development Company Box UK has announced that it has recently received Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation. This demonstrates their commitment to cyber security protection to government required standards.

Cyber Essentials Plus is an accreditation scheme backed by the government and designed to provide peace of mind that an organisation’s defence will protect against the majority of cyber-attacks.  A technical audit carried out by an approved cyber security assessor determines the appropriate resilience of an organisation’s internet facing devices.

Box UK were subjected to a thorough programme of assessment carried out by Cyber Essentials Certification Body,  Assure Technical Ltd which included:

  • Authenticated vulnerability scanning of representative user endpoints, including internet-facing servers
  • Vulnerability scanning of external internet-facing infrastructure 
  • User privilege checks 
  • Email attachment tests 
  • Web browser download checks 
  • Review of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets

Safety, security and privacy is at the core of our operations and the achievement of this accreditation further demonstrates the importance we place on Cyber security.  The initial assessment recorded zero major critical vulnerabilities discovered, which is additional testament to our established security posture, and provides further peace of mind to our clients.
