Box UK’s ISO 27001:2013 accreditation renewed following successful audit

Successful ISO 27001:2013 audit

Following independent assessment, enterprise software development company Box UK has retained its ISO 27001:2013 accreditation, which it has held since 2017.

Published by internationally-recognised standards body ISO (the International Organization for Standardization), ISO 27001 is part of the ISO/IEC 27000 family of standards that help organisations keep information assets secure.

It provides requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS) encompassing people, processes and IT systems, and is held by leading technology companies including Google, Microsoft, Cisco Systems and Verizon.

Accredited security standards

Box UK was awarded ISO 27001:2013 accreditation after demonstrating consistently high standards across its information security management processes, with no major non-conformities logged in any of its audits.

The organisation continues to review and improve its approach to information security management, and has built a flexible framework able to adapt to emerging risks and changes in the wider cyber security landscape.
