Being an Data Architect at Box UK
As a Data Architect you will work on exciting projects within our portfolio, interpreting and bringing to life the defined solution architecture.
In this role you will…
● Assist in designing and implementing cloud-native data lakes, data pipelines, and data visualisation solutions on GCP and eventually AWS.
● Contribute to the design and implementation of MySQL database migration to cloud-based data solutions.
● Participate in the development of event streaming systems for user behavioural analytics and system-level events.
● Collaborate with senior solution architects to ensure adherence to data management frameworks and governance.
● Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
● Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and best practices in solution and data architecture.

You will also need…
● Minimum of 3 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related field.
● Experience with GCP, including serverless technologies, AWS is a plus.
● Experience in building data pipelines using SQL and related technologies. Knowledge of tools such as Talend and Stitch is a plus.
● Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and experience with database systems such as MySQL.
● Familiarity with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake is a plus.
● Experience with event streaming technologies and user behaviour analytics is a plus.
● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
