Box UK shortlisted for IIP Award
We are pleased to announce that Box UK has been named as a global leader in people management practices, having been shortlisted in the third annual Investors in People (IIP) Awards. The awards programme, which this year received over 340 entries internationally, celebrates those IIP-accredited organisations that have achieved the highest standards in people management; focusing on the main elements of what it means to be an Investor in People, from reward and recognition to social responsibility.
Excellence in Leadership and Management
Having received IIP Silver accreditation in 2014, Box UK was selected as a finalist in the category of ‘Excellence in Leadership and Management (under 249 employees)’ after demonstrating exceptional investment in its people to strengthen leadership capability at every level. This has been achieved through the implementation of a number of initiatives that extend and enhance the leadership function within the organisation, such as improved communication and feedback channels, a formal learning and development programme, and opportunities for both horizontal and vertical career progression.
The web and software development consultancy’s commitment to effective leadership was recognised by the judging panel, who commented: “Leaders and managers clearly have created an organisation that is a rewarding place to work in many small and different ways and development is part of this; they have a very engaged workforce”.
